Your “Right to Purchase Agreement" gives you the right to purchase the home that you presently rent at a predetermined price for every year of your lease, as long as you have been in compliance with the lease agreement and other documents. You may purchase the home at any time after the initial one-year lease at the initial predetermined price even if the home is appraised at a higher value. If appraised at a lower value, then you are still under NO obligation to buy the home from Covenant Housing Solutions.

Gaining a Positive Credit Score
Covenant Housing Solutions doesn’t focus exclusively on credit scores as we work with you to improve your score to be able to qualify for bank financing. We also have government assistance programs that we can help you obtain for down payment and settlement cost. Depending on your situation and credit score it may take one year to qualify or 5 years to qualify but during that time you are improving your credit score while saving for a downpayment but with our agreed and signed “Right to Purchase Agreement” you are guaranteed the time needed to purchase. We will report on time rental payments to TransUnion, Equifax and Experian to help raise your credit score. Reporting positive payment history to major credit bureaus can assist with building credit.
